| These instructions are for transferring using a commercial heat press. | ||
| 1. | Printing Your Transfer | |
| (a) | Insert a single sheet of transfer paper into the printer with the printable surface loaded correctly for your printer. | |
| (b) | Print image. DO NOT flip of mirror the image | |
| 2. | Peeling Away Paper Backing | |
| (a) | Holding image side of transfer toward you, make a small ¼ inch hard crease on any one corner | |
| (b) | Flip the transfer over and crease the same corner in the opposite direction | |
| (c) | Gently tear the paper backing along the crease to separate the transfer from the paper backing. Be very careful not to tear the transfer layer. DO NOT remove the entire backing yet, just get the corner started. | |
| 3. | Trimming the Transfer | |
| (a) | After tearing the corner, separate the layers and slowly peel the transfer just past the image. | |
| (b) | Stop there and replace the paper backing over the image. | |
| (c) | Trim around the image | |
| (d) | After trimming, gently peel the entire backing away from the image. | |
| 4. | Transferring the Image | |
| (a) | Place garment on the center of the press pad. Center the transfer on the garment (face up) | |
| (b) | Place parchment sheet over transfer, covering completely. | |
| (c) | Press at 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius) with high pressure for 20-25 seconds | |
| (d) | Peel away parchment sheet when cool (approx. 2 minutes) | |
| 5. | Washing Instructions | |
| (a) | Turn the garment inside-out and wash separately (first time only). | |
| (b) | Machine wash in cold water with color-safe detergent. DO NOT use bleach. | |
| (c) | Remove promptly from washer to prevent colors running together. If the colors run together, rewash immediately | |
| (d) | Tumble dry with low heat. Add towels to facilitate drying | |
| (e) | If garment needs ironing, DO NOT iron directly on transfer | |
